DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 2 (Two) rosewood roundtop 8 day time and strike Connecticut Ingraham and Gilbert mantel clocks, later 19th century
CONDITION:
larger is E. Ingraham "Venetian" with old glasses, newer paper dial, and interesting old dealer stamp on rear from Young & Co., Laconia, N.H., Ht 15 1/2". Smaller Gilbert "Round Top" is a simpler case without lower glass; paper dial is old and lifting, hands are mismatched, gong is incorrect, and there are some small veneer losses on bottom edges, Ht 13". Both are c1880 and cases were refinished, their movements can use service.
